What you need for 2-3 persons:

  • 250 gram (0,6 lb) tofu
  • toast-gems or simply toast
  • 1 can pineapples
  • vegan mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • salad
  • 2 teaspoons curry
  • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • salt
  • 15 minutes of your time!

  • At first we add to a bowl breadcrumbs, tofu and the curry spice.
  • We knead everything until we get a dough. Afterwards we flavor with salt and knead again.
  • We heat the vegetable oil in a pan.
  • We form some flat burger the size of a palm of the hand.
  • We fry the burgers on middle-heat on each site 5-7 minutes until they are ready. For a firmer consistency of the burger, let them cool down for about 10 minutes. ;-)
  • We cut the toast-gems into two halfs and toast them on middle heat for about 3 minutes.
  • Now we wash the salad...
  • We open the pineapple-can and drip off the pineapple-rings.

 

  • We give one toast-gem-half on a plate...

 

  • ...add the salad...

 

  • ...one burger...
 

 

  • ...the vegan mayonnaise...

 

  • ...the pineapple-ring...

 

  • ...and the other half of the toast-gem.

That's it for today: the low-cholestorol pineapple-burger: with healthy soy, vegan mayonnaise and fatburning pineapple.

You can eat french fries together with the burger: delicious!
