What you need for 6 muffins:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar (or white sugar, but cane sugar is better)
  • 1 tablespoon soy flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 50 gram (1,8 oz) grounded almonds
  • 4 half pears out of the can
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a little bitter almond aroma
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 200 gram (7 oz) bitter sweet chocolate coating
  • 50 gram (1,8 oz) cob-brittle
  • 35 minutes of your time! (waiting-time: 1 hour)

  1. We preheat the oven to 200 degree celsius.
  2. We open the pears-can and drip off the content.
  3. We cut the pears into small pieces.
  4. We take a large bowl and add flour, sugar, soy flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, almonds, cinnamon and the bitter almond-aroma and stir everything until we get a dough.
  5. We add the pears and stir the dough again.
  6. We oil the muffin-baking-pan with some cloth dipped into a little oil
  7. Now we give the dough into the baking pan.
  8. We bake the muffins 20-25 minutes at 200 degree celsius.
  9. After baking you let them cool down. Afterwards you can remove them from the baking-pan with a teaspoon.
