What you need for 2-3 persons:

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 1/2 bunch fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • some salt
  • 15 minutes of your time!

This dish is very light and mainly easy prepared: everybody knows spaghetti with tomatoe-sauce and by comparison this rice is a little healthier because of the fresh parsley ;-) Fresh boiled rice mixed with some margarine is definately very delicious but if you add parsley and a little tomato puree it is even more. Just try it!

 

  1. We set a small cooking pot on our cooker and add 2 cups of rice, 4 cups of water and one teaspoon salt to it.
  2. The Rice will be cooked on full heat 7-9 minutes until there is no water left. In between we stir.
  3. We wash the parsley and cut it into small pieces.
  4. If the rice is ready we add the margarine, the parsley and the finally the tomato puree. We stir everything and flavor with salt.
