What you need for 2-3 persons:

  • 125 Gramm (4,4 oz) dried chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons sesasmemush (Tahini)
  • juice of a 1/2 citron
  • a little parsley
  • a little olive oil
  • Paprika Spice
  • Salt
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 15 minutes of your time!

  1. We soak the chickpeas in the doubled amount of water the day before we cook them.
  2. On the next day we cook the chickpeas at medium heat one hour until they are soft.
  3. Now we can mix the chickpeas. For a better handling we give the other liquids into the mixer.
  4. After we've mixed them we give 100-200 ml water, 3 tablespoons sesamemush, the juice of a 1/2 citron and 3 peeled and smashed cloves of garlic to our chickpeas.
  5. We mix everything together and flavor with salt.
  6. We wash the parsley and cut it into small pieces.
  7. We give the humous on a plate: on top of it we give the paprica spice, the parsley and lots of olive oil.
