Was you need for 1-2 persons:

  • 500 gram (1,1 lb) Gnocchi
  • 2 onions
  • 250 ml (8,5 fl oz) soycream
  • 500 gram (1,1 lb) smoked tofu
  • 15 minutes of your time!

10 easy steps to get a very delicious meal! Gnocchi is always a good choice and a little better than spaghetti because they contain mineral nutrients and vitamins. Additionally Gnocchis are very easy to make and the sauce is too! So why waiting? Enjoy cooking and eating! ;-)

 

  1. At first we cook 1 litre of water.
  2. We take a small cooking pot and we add the water, the gnocchi and a little salt.
  3. We will cook the Gnocchi about 4 minutes until they are ready.
  4. After that you cast the content of the cooking pot into a colander and flush it shortly with some cold water.
  5. For the smoked-tofu-sauce we peel 2 onions and cut them into small pieces.
  6. We cut the smoked tofu into very small cubes.
  7. Now we heat some olive oil in a frying pan and add the smoked-tofu-cubes. We fry them for about 3 minutes whilst stirring them.
  8. Now we add the onions and stir everything again. We fry them for about 2 minutes until we add the soycream.
  9. The smoked tofu is very salty so it's not necessary to flavor our sauce with salt.
  10. Now we can serve everything together.
