Was you need for 1-2 persons:

  • 500 gram (1,1 lb) Gnocchi
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 teaspoons tomato puree
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • a handful basil
  • Salt
  • 15 minutes of your time!

  1. At first we cook 1 litre of water.
  2. We take a small cooking pot and we add the water, the gnocchi and a little salt.
  3. We will cook the Gnocchi about 4 minutes until they are ready.
  4. After that you cast the content of the cooking pot into a colander and flush it shortly with some cold water.
  5. For the pesto we cut the basil leaves into small pieces.
  6. We peel the garlic.
  7. We add into a bowl the garlic, the basil leaves, the tomato puree and the olive oil.
  8. We mix everything together and flavor with some salt.
  9. Now you can mix the Gnocchi with the Pesto and serve everything together.
