  1. At first we melt the margarine in a small cooking pot.
  2. Afterwards we mix all ingredients together (lots of stirring) until we get a dough (shortcrust).
  3. We coil the dough into a transparent films and put it into the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  4. In the meantime we can prepare the fill.
  5. At first we peel the apples, core them and cut them into middle-sized pieces.
  6. We give the apples into a cooking pot and add cinnamon, sugar and 150 ml water. Now we boil them for about 12 minutes. They should become mellow.
  7. We mix the remaining water with the cornstarch and add this to the apples. We boil them again for about 3 minutes until it becomes thick.
  8. We preheat the oven to about 180 degree celsius.
  9. Now we can prepare the dough.
  10. At first we cut the dough into halfs.
  11. We wrap one half in transparent films and roll it out with a rolling pin (height about 0.5 cm)
  12. Now we take the bottom of the spring form (baking form) and put it onto the dough. We take a knife and cut the bottom out.
  13. Again we take some dough and roll it out with the rolling pin. We cut it into pieces (width 4 cm/height 0.5 cm). They will serve as our border.
  14. We outlay the spring form with the long pieces.
  15. Now we can add the fill and flatten it.
  16. Afterwards we roll out some dough for the cover and cut it into long pieces (length = diameter of the spring form / height 0.5 cm)
  17. We cover the fill cross wise with the dough pieces. Don't worry! It doesn't have to look perfect. The important thing is that it tastes perfect :)
  18. Now we bake the apple pie for about 35 minutes (180 degree celsius).
  19. Afterwards let it cool off. For a better taste I prefer to refrigerate it for some hours. Rather than cooling the pie off you could serve it with cold vanilla ice cream oO
  20. Additionally you can bespread the apple pie with icing sugar. Take a tea striner and a teaspoon. Press the sugar through the tea striner and disperse it over the apple pie.

ENJOY!
