- Heat your oven and bake the pita bread for about 10 minutes so that
it becomes crusty.
- We peel the onions and cut them into middle-sized pieces.
- We heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the curry and the
caraway.
- Shortly we stir everything and then add the onion pieces. We fry them
for 2 minutes.
- Now we add the chickpeas, 2 cups of water and the peeled and smashed
cloves of garlic. We cook everything for about 2 minutes.
- Afterwards we add the tomato puree, stir everything and finally flavor
with salt.
- Serve them together with the crisped up pita bread.
