What you need for 2 people: Was du für 2 Pers. brauchst:

  • 2 burger gems
  • 2 vegan burger patties
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/4 iceberg lettuce
  • some ketchup
  • some mustard
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 slices of vegan cheese
  • 15 minutes of your time!

Do you really enjoy junkfood but believe that wouldn't be possible when being vegan? Actually it's possible! A vegan Cheeseburger - totally guilt free and with no cholesterol at all! Check out your grocery or health store for vegan burger patties! There are a lot of vegan brands available that offer all kinds of fakemeat! ;-)

  • First we cut the gem into two halves.
  • Now we toast them slightly.

 

 

 

  • On the bottom half we add about 1/2 teaspoon mustard and spread it. Don't take too much of it. The mustard shouldn't plaster the taste ;-)

     

  • Now we add 1 teaspoon ketchup..

 

  • We cut the pickles into slices and add them too.

 

  • Now we cut the lettuce into small pieces, wash it afterwards, dry it and add a fistful to our burger.

 

  • Now let's add the vegan burger. Smells great!

 

  • And then we add a slice of vegan cheese.

 

  • We wash the tomato and slice it and afterwards put one slice on top of the cheese.

 

  • Again we add some ketchup...

 

  • and finally the other half of the gem.

 

  • You can serve it with french fries or with a healthy salad (more hippie style;-)
